Don't forget you can set your iron sights with PGUP & PGDN, the sights can go out to a maximum of 1000m and a minimum of 100m.
Breathing is important while using your rifle. When you zoom in the sight (Right mouse button), you will hear 2 breathes, after these 2 breathes have taken you should have a steady sight for a few seconds.
Once you have shot and killed someone, make sure you relocate, the sound of your weapon may bring unwanted guests.
Riflemen carry an ammo box. Remember you can always give that ammo box to an Light Machine Gun (LMG) so that they can restock their ammunition.

The SMG is ideal for clearing out Capture Offices, make use of windows and the lean keys to look into buildings and through windows.
Learn to fire from the hip without raising the SMG to your eye, it takes practice but you will find it can save you in many occasions.
Each country has a distinctive SMG sound. Try to keep your shooting to a minimum and relocate after each kill where possible.
